What process & materials do you use?
OR Design started as a passion project, a way for me to bring together my love of glass artistry and design. I work in archival glass, flameworking each piece to blend colour and create luminous glass jewels. Because of the process, no two pieces are ever exactly the same. Each one has its own personality.
I pair the handblown glass with architecturally inspired forms in 925 sterling silver shapes that elevate the glass and allow beautiful lightplay and movement. My aim has always been to create jewellery that feels modern, individual, and timeless pieces that women connect with and love to wear.
Where can I see your designs in-person?
OR Design is proudly stocked in select galleries and boutiques across Australia, please refer to our STOCKISTS page.
We also showcase our collections at leading design markets and exhibitions around the country. This creates a perfect opportunity to experience the craftsmanship up close and meet the team behind the brand.
In what way are the designs one-of-kind?
OR Design jewellery is uniquely beautiful as a result of complex handcrafted processes.
Any variations are desired effects by design. We have shown the colours & images of our products with the highest possible colour accuracy.
So if the "jewel" is made from glass, do I have to be extra careful with it?
Just treat the glass jewel element as you would any gemstone.
Each glass jewel at OR Design is meticulously handcrafted. After creation, every piece is annealed; a specialised heating process that enhances strength and durability.
Our designs are made to be worn and loved every day. You don’t need to be overly cautious, simply enjoy your jewellery with confidence, knowing it’s crafted to endure and shine through all of your life’s moments.
How can I determine my correct ring or bracelet size?
RINGS: Use a standard ring size chart to find the size that corresponds to your measurement. (See below).
- Fingers tend to be slightly larger at the end of the day, so measuring when your hands are warm can provide a more accurate size.
- Make sure to take your knuckle's circumference into account, as it is the widest part of your finger. A good fit is one that can slide over the knuckle but is still snug enough not to fall off.
- For rings with a wide band (5mm or more), you may need to go up a half size for a comfortable fit.
- The same finger on your dominant hand is often slightly larger than on the other hand.
If you have a ring that fits perfectly, but you are not sure about its size...Measure the inside diameter by using a ruler.
If you need help you can send us photos of the ring diameter indicated with a ruler and we will assist you in choosing the correct size!
BRACELETS: A bit easier than rings to find your size as you have a bit more allowance depending on how fitted you like to wear your bracelets.
- If you have a similar bracelet and like how it sits on the wrist just lay it flat & measure from end to end with a ruler.
- Then compare that measurement to the dimensions listed in our corresponding product page.
Due to the one-off nature of our handmade designs we unfortunately cannot offer a broader range of sizes...but our band designs do allow for professional resizing at your local jeweller should you require it.

How is my order packed?
Your piece will arrive in signature OR Design packaging, beautifully presented, elegant, and ready to be adored. The piece is polished then wrapped in tissue paper, placed inside a felt pouch & then secured inside a branded gift box.
Your order is then shipped in an all weather postal satchel and you may have to sign for your goods in some cases.
Can I track my order?
Yes. All OR Design orders include tracking details provided by Australia Post for both Standard and Express deliveries... including international deliveries.
Your tracking number will be emailed to you as soon as your order has been dispatched so you can follow its journey right to your door.
Do you ship internationally?
OR Design proudly ships its beautiful creations worldwide.
Simply select International Shipping at checkout; a flat rate of $20 AUD applies.
Please note: additional customs duties or tariffs may apply to certain destinations, including the United States, which are the responsibility of the customer.
How long will it take to receive my order?
All OR Design orders are shipped via Australia Post. If an item needs to be made to order or is temporarily out of stock, you’ll be personally notified within 48 hours with an updated delivery timeframe & options.
DOMESTIC:
Standard Shipping: arrives within approximately 3–4 business days from the time of dispatch.
Express Shipping: arrives within 1–2 business days from dispatch.
INTERNATIONAL:
Standard Shipping: arrives within approximately 6-12 business days from the time of dispatch.
Express Shipping: arrives within 3-6 business days from dispatch.

Is there an EXPRESS shipping option?
Yes, of course! Express Shipping in Australia is AUD $20 & internationally is AUD $65.
DOMESTIC: Express Shipping: arrives within 1–2 business days from dispatch.
INTERNATIONAL: Express Shipping: arrives within 3-6 business days from dispatch.
If you're after something as a gift please check with us before hand to ensure we have the item on hand to avoid any delays.
What if my order is a gift?
For something truly special, select our gift wrapping option at checkout. Your piece will arrive in signature OR Design packaging — beautifully presented, elegant, and ready to be adored.
For gifts, you can request goods to travel without receipt of purchase.
We can also add a small "To: / From:" card for gift giving if you add details of this to the seller instructions or you email this through with your order number upon purchase.

Can I swap my order if there's a sizing issue?
Yes, of course! Each OR Design piece is handmade, and some designs can have unique sizing quirks due to their handcrafted nature. Please get in touch with us at sales@ordesign.com.au we’ll be happy to work with you to find the best fit or custom solution.
What is the returns process?
Contact OR Design directly at sales@ordesign.com.au to start the process. Returns are dealt with on an individual, case-by-case basis depending on where/when you purchase was made and what your needs are.
What is your warranty or guarantee policy?
We offer a 365-day warranty against manufacturing faults from the date of purchase.
If treated with proper care your piece should shine for a lifetime. In the event of a mishap you can contact us and we can help find a solution for you.
Like all fine jewellery, damage from impact, dropping, or mishandling isn’t covered under warranty. Each piece is made from strengthened, annealed glass, and while beautifully resilient, it still requires gentle care to maintain its integrity.
Can you help me if I've dropped or broken my piece by accident?
Yes, we can normally work something out with you on a case-by-case basis. Start by emailing us with a couple of pictures from different angles and info about where/when you made your purchase. A team member will then follow up with you.
