Obsidian is formed from molten lava that has cooled very quickly, it is often called 'volcanic glass' with the elements of fire, water and earth at its core.
This piece has been set to articulate, giving it a unique and contemporary look as well as being incredibly comfortable.
The glass piece is approx. 25mm long x 14mm wide x 8mm deep.
Hand-worked Italian glass piece set on an 8mm wide, 925 Sterling Silver band.
Available in 2 sizes. The different orientations are a result of smaller sizes like M/N needing to be less elongated on the finger with the larger size of O allowing for the longer edge in line with the finger.

EMPIRE SIZING:
The design of this ring allows for wearing on different fingers due to the articulating setting. This action also allows the wearer to turn the glass jewel 180° to show an alternate face due to subtle differences in thickness that result from the handmade process...this makes it a little larger or smaller when flipped.
